The client reported several communication issues, mainly due to the fact that daily activities rely on apps installed on smartphones, which communicate with a cloud server. To ensure proper functioning, an efficient connection and low latency in data transmission were required.

With the continuous development and updates of the apps, not accompanied by a corresponding technological upgrade of the network infrastructure, operational difficulties had increasingly emerged.

A solution was therefore sought to improve daily operations.

Teicos proposed a plan for upgrading the network equipment dedicated to the Wi-Fi service, including supply, configuration, and installation across the various company sites. This aimed to provide a technological update according to the latest standards.

A GANTT installation plan was also developed to minimize costs and reduce intervention times. Additionally, Teicos prepared a technical operational document containing the procedures to follow during the equipment replacement, in order to minimize service disruptions and ensure continuity of daily operations.

The intervention delivered the expected results, resolving the delays and disconnection issues reported by the client. The performance of the new network exceeded expectations: some equipment previously connected via structured cabling was successfully migrated to the Wi-Fi network, achieving equivalent stability and speed. This allowed for a reduction of part of the physical infrastructure in the CED premises and sales areas, simplifying network management and increasing overall client satisfaction.
